Muslims exaggerated in beautifying calligraphy because it was one of the few outlets they used for design and decoration as well as art , for arabic is a coonected letter language. The beautiful calligraphy in this work of art is emphasizing the old Kufi writing method , close in style to arabesque, it Goes back to pre Islam but was mostly famous in Kufa at the 5 Islamic century. Kufi font has 30 different styles because of its geometry and structure.
