He stands as a continuation of the legacy of Egyptian calligraphy masters, shaping the art across 70 years. Many calligraphers in Egypt and the Arab world were nurtured under his guidance, earning him the title "Dean of Arabic Calligraphy" bestowed upon him by his devoted disciples.
